What to Expect from an Installation

At East Coast Countertops, our professionals provide full countertop installation for all types of countertop surfaces.

We take care of everything from start to finish, including removing your old countertop, and cleaning up any debris before we leave. To prepare for a countertop installation, all you need to do is make sure the existing old countertop is completely clear of small appliances, kitchen utensils, or any other knick-knacks so that we can get right to work.

Average installation time: 2-3 hrs

This type of installation is quick and easy, and is the least intrusive to your daily routine. At East Coast Countertops, we prepare as much of your new countertop as possible in our shop, so that the disruption in your house is kept to a minimum. Our installation experts will be in and out of your house as quickly as possible so you can get on with your day.

Installing Solid Surface Countertop

Average installation time: 3-5 hrs

Solid surface countertop installation is similar to laminate, since we fabricate most of the pieces in our shop before coming to your home. The installation process for solid surface countertop does take a bit longer, since some seaming needs to be done on site. Our installation experts are always on focused on completing a clean and professional installation with the minimum amount of disruption to your home.

Installing Stone Countertop

Average installation time: 3-5 hrs

A quartz countertop or granite countertop installation is the most difficult because of the weight of the stone. While the entire fabrication is completed before we arrive, it will take some time to carry and place the stone countertop properly in your home.

Please be aware that minor damage to your kitchen or bathroom wall is normal when installing stone countertop; these slabs can be anywhere from 400lbs to 1000lbs! Maneuvering the stone into place can cause some minor damage to your walls, which we will ensure is repaired before we leave.
